Hmm… it has been a long time since I have written anything here. I guess I haven’t really cared to mention what I am up to recently.
The office has been really cold recently. They had to adjust the temperature, but it still isn’t much better. The issue is the temperature control is two offices down with several computers in the room, so it is much warmer than ours, making it cold for us. So, the issue is there is not much that can be done about it. Once it gets cold enough that they start using heat instead of AC, it may be better.
On another note, the weather suddenly turned cold. In one day, a cold front came in and dropped the temperature. Ever since then, it has been cloudy and cold. I have had to stop wearing shorts, but I will survive.
Breakaway has been consuming the same amount of time that it always has. They put up the new website, and it is large in terms of the amount of data that needs to be downloaded. I just wonder how much longer it is going to stay that way. I am thinking that it is best for me to keep quiet rather than tell them everything that is wrong with it.
As for Navs, I have been back there once. There was an evening that I was too tired to really go to the hall, but I didn’t want to just stay home, so I went. It seems that Nav café is gone. I figured it would be that way since they tried to kill it last year. Instead they did a scavenger hunt or something like that, but I was too tired to go along with that, so I went home.
Once again, pretty much the only thing that i missed about Navs was seeing Katie. In some ways I wish that I did go there just to see her some more. Ever since I described her to Matthew and he said “She is perfect,” I have been talking to her more online though. I think that I have started to miss her a bit, but frankly, I don’t know what to do.
On a nicer side of my life, Fire has been more interesting. I have finished doing most of the service update conversion. For the moment, I am trying to figure out what needs to be done next. In the end, it makes more sense than females, so I am better off spending my time there.
Well, that is most of the past month. I hope the next proves more interesting. Hopefully I will write here more often than I have been in the past.
